Default Newly Built PC, beeping....

Just finished building another PC, however when I turn it on, the LCD monitor stays in power-saving mode, and the PC beeps ever 5 seconds or so. I've checked everything, and everything seems to be plugged correctly. What's goin' on here? Thanks.

it's called a beep code and it corresponds to the motherboard. google it and find out what it means. it's probably either a memory/cpu/video issue or you may have missed one of the motherboard's extra power connectors.

What was the problem exactly? Whenever that happened to me, it had to do the ram somehow.

actually, i thought it was fixed. it isn't. if i unplug everything except the power switch, CPU, CPU fan, case fan, and main power connector, the beeping stops. that includes the 12V power connector. ive realized that i can plug in everything except the 12V connector. if the 12V goes in, the beeping starts.
