Since you're planning to get a 4870, you should get an Intel chipset like a P45 motherboard. Later on if you want more power for graphics you can then add another 4870 for Crossfire.

I know this motherboard doesn't support crossfire, but the odds are, I wont both running crossfire at all, i'll stick with this computer until I buy a whole new tower.
