Default new setup will it cope?

ok so i have just ordered a new build,
the GFX card i ordered is the Gecube X1950 AGP8x, i also ordered a fairly cheap 550W PSU, i know the GFX card needs at least 450 with other devices also plugged. however i read on reviews the PSU is mostly at 480W... when gaming will this be enough or will i experience freezes crashes shutdowns..etc?

You'll be fine as long as you're not running 10 hard drives in addition to the normal load. 550w will be just fine.

even if it runs at 480w?

the setup will be AMD 3800+
2x 512MB RAM @ 333Mhz (will soon be 1xGB @ 333)
1x30GB IDE HDD 1x250GB IDE HDD
Gecube x1950 256MB AGP8x
wireless PCI adapter
2 case fans
1xDVD RW
1xCDRW

sure that will be ok while in game?

Seasonic
Silverstone
Hiper
Zippy
PC Power and Cooling
Corsair
Mushkin

Choose from one of those brands and youve made a good choice.

I didn't say that, it could work for years without a problem. Its just that it less likely to compared to the brands I posted.
