Default New PSU suggestion?

I know there's a PSU Guide in the sticky section here but there are so many PSUs out there I don't know which one to get for my particular system, I have an Okia 550W that came with my PC and I've heard bad things about them so I wanna get a reliable, non exploding, non destroying PC PSU while I have the chance lol, any suggestions on a new PSU for what I'm running plus a little extra for future upgrades (New Mobo, with Pentium Quad Core would be my next upgrade prob)

Look at my Recommended PC Components sticky:
Recommended PC Components

Scroll down to the mid-end/budget section (2nd post), and have a look at the PSUs I selected, which are usually recommended on this forum. Any one of those, is a great choice.

Good choices on brinks' part.

I recommend the Corsair 550vx. It is a decent bit cheaper than the 520HX and should provide more than enough power for your system + future upgrades.

Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX ATX12V V2.2 550W Power Supply 90 - 264 V UL, CUL, CE, CB, FCC Class B, TUV, CCC, C-tick - Retail

I see everyone recommending the HX and VX series PSUs...what kind of quality is the TX? I was thinking about a 650TX a couple of days ago, it was $69.99 here which is great for a corsair 650. Is the TX quality up there with the VX and HX?

All of Corsair's power supply series, are top quality.

The TX, I think, is the high wattage series.
