Well, i was planning on building my first pc, but that idea went out the window after i found it hard just putting new ram in  So anyway, im in need of a new pc, and cant afford to get a new one often, so want to get the best i can now. I only have about £550 to £600, and saw this in Comet:

http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/uk/en/ho/WF06b/35123-35527-39847-39847-39847-12189488-55608679.html

I will go upto £700 if i can get one thats alot faster and better than that, but i dont want to spend £100 more if its not going to be that much better.

After seeing that in Comet, iv looked on the HP site, and i notied this:

I dont know much about Dual Core, but will that be alot faster than the 64 3700?

So can you recomed which i get, or if you can point me to a PC for £600 - £700 thats better, or one thats about the same speed but costs less that would be great :)

Thank you :)

The old debate...

Well again its the old debate about AMD vs. Intel. I dont want to start another war but i'd go for the AMD... so the 1st link.
The PC looks good value for the price but it might be worth checking out ebay, www.ebuyer.com and maybe a smaller company of some sort who may be able to offer a better deal.
Building your own PC isnt as hard as it looks though... last time i looked there was a really good tutorial on this site.

Regards,
Smiffy :D
