Default New parts

So recently my motherboard short circuited and fried my processor and graphics card. So my question is, do you guys have any recommendations for a gaming pc parts? I am already thinking a nvidia gforce 920 but i dont know anything about processors or motherboards. I thank you for the help.

I did not realize that. If thats the case i am going to need a graphics card rec too.

If your wanting a gaming PC, A 920 is a rather weak choice, Not a gaming GPU at all, Also give up you budget and we can guide you in the right direction.

About 1.5k
Can you recommend a good gaming GPU?
I am attempting to run most new games on max (fallout 4 etc.)
Also any recs for processor and mother board?

With that budget I would go for at least a GTX970, Is that also needing a monitor and keyboard and all that stuff or just the PC itself? you can build a great gaming system with that budget.

I am able to salvage the power source, dvd and harddrive, the ram, the monitor, the keyboard and the mouse

15 gigs of RAM. The PSU is EVGA 430w.
