Default New to this need to no what kind of case i need for computer.

Ok i am completely new to these forums so sorry if i sound like an idiot.

Ok so I need to get a case for a computer that i am starting to build, i am not exactly sure what kind of a case i would need. bacically this is manly for gaming and thats all. I no that for the mother board i want some kind of Socket 939 maybe SLI and for the Graphics card dont no right now but some really good one I no that.

Ok so questions on the case, how big of a case would i need for a powerful gaming PC, and also some of the cases like on newegg come with a power supplie, should I take that power supplie for get a completely seperate one. i dont care about how loud the computer gets either.
oh and also on Ram, If i get the 1 gig there are some that cost 100 and others that cost 150, so whats the difference between the 1 gig 100 dollar and the 150.

Thanks for your time and thanks for tollerating me I no that i am a newb!

I'd get a mid-tower with a separate power supply.

The more expensive ones may have faster timings. Corsair has a good one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145450
Check that out.

okay... well most cases are okay for gaming as long as they have enough fans or large enough fans to keep the hardware cool. I recommend something like the shark. But it really depends on how much of a budget you have.

The power SUPPLYS* in cases are normally cheap ones and should be replaced as soon as possible. And a $100 1gb stick of RAM would not be as fast or reliable as a $150 RAM. remember to get RAM that is compatible with your system as well.
