Im in the market for a new monnitor. I have been looking at both LCD and CRT. I like CRT for the great resolution and response time. I have been looking for a LCD with 8ms response, 600:1 ratio or better and Brightness better than 300 cd/m2. Have found some but wanted to know if anyone out there had some experience with a monitor like this?

I'd have to say i'm a big LCD fan, i just love them 
. They take up less space, the colors they produce are more vivid than CRT's, and most of all, they don't hurt my eyes. I spend a lot of time staring at my monitor and my eyes don't hurt, where as i've been on a CRT monitor for about 30 minutes and i could feel my eyes taking a beating. I'm going to upgrade to a bigger LCD sometime soon, maybe a 19inch. I'd say stick to about 8ms or lower. Do yourself a favor, buy an LCD.

Ive researched the crap out of this topic, Trust me. Its one of the most consistently fast 19" LCDs on the market. Plus being a mva type panel it also has good viewing angles better color and better for movies.....
