New hdd and xp

I just got a new 80gb to replace my 20gb in my old comp. I also got xp pro that should be here tomorrow. Not sure exactly how to install the hdd from my old one then install windows. I have backed up all my important files and things on a disc. Could anyone help or point me to a guide? Thanks

well here si a link that shows you how to put together every piece of a computer including harddrive. After you put it in the bios should recognize it and then you just pop in the windows xp cd and let it install just follow the steps

Thanks for the link, i hooked it up and have a 20gb now. What do i need to move the jumper to make it a slave drive? Can i just copy important files to the new one once i do that?
