Hey, i know next to nothing about working with laptop hardware. The hard drive on my laptop (inspiron 5100) has been slowly dying, i can hear a lot of not so pleasant noises coming from it. So I was going to take the hard drive out and replace it with something else. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions because it seemed the best rated hard drives came from Toshiba, Samsung, and Fujitsu? I also want to make sure that this is just a simple take out the hard drive put new one in and install operating system, ive never done this to a laptop and just want to make sure everything goes smoothly.
