****, any benchmarks out over the 8800GTX if the price is more than £220 I'll prob get the GTX or is the high end GTS's better..arghhh which is the best in games like Crysis.... and have the best cooling.

The 9800gtx is beating the 8800GTX mostly due to clock speeds. It comes with 675core and 2200mem. People have been able to get it up as high as 850core and 2400me on air. So its not going to be the next revolution in gaming, but pound for pound its still going to be a better card then the 8800GTX.

Fair enough, all comes down to price, I've been told all sorts to just a GTS will do to the GT is the best thing ever, really confusing I game alot on FPS games and 3dmark06 scores are fine but I expect good FPS in games like Crysis and TDU, BF2142 and COD4 just to name a few all @ 1680 by 1050 with all high settings.,

In reality the less I spend the better, aslong as I break 10k on 3dmark06, and I can run Crysis at high at 1680 by 1050, with good temps on the GPU and happy on my psu I will be a happy bunny, and that I know it will handle COD5 and any new games due out.

In that pricerange I would get the 3870x2...although if you get the 8800GTS 512mb you certainly won't be disappointed with it.
