New Comp for General Use.

I thinking to build another PC for one my member of family.
This PC will be used primary for Internet, Writing etc.. Movies etc...
Maybe some gaming (well probably not really).

So what kind of build should I look for. And what price range?

I probably can build one using Shuttle BareBone, or not.

Here is a list of hardware all compatable. This should be perfect for an average user and more. Alot of room to up grade and everything. I didnt pick out some of the easier stuff like the case or screen. wasnt sure if you needed those things. Total price for everything is about $565. hope this helps

my only input is that since hard drives and memory are on the cheap side lately, might not hurt to get 200-250gb hard drive and maybe a gig of ram.. so at least we could make use of dual channel.

other than that, very nice.

yes i know there are 512 kits of dc ram.. but doesn't make much sense to stick 256 sticks in.. limited upgradeability
