This is my first time building a computer and just wanted to see if it is a good build.
motherboard - ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe
processor - AMD Athlon 64 3200+
video card - eVGA Geforce 6600GT
hard drive - Seagate Barracuda 250GB
memory - CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB
burner - NEC Black IDE DVD Burner
DVD-ROM - SONY Black IDE
floppy drive - SONY Black Internal
case - Rosewill TU-155
The other mobo I was thinking about was the DFI Lanparty nF4 SLI-DR
I was gonna get a samsung 17" lcd monitor but I can't seem to find it anymore so any suggestions on a 17" monitor would be good to.
People were telling me to get the new 6800gs, not get an SLI mobo, and get a better processor.

Will you be oc'ing? If yes, then haha103's right, upgrade the mobo. If not, keep as is, but you can downgrade the ram (ie, go for a cheaper alternative to save money). As for the rosewill psu.... I've heard a lot of mixed reviews. A lot of people say they're bad, but some people with firsthand experience swear by them. Your call there.
