It would help if you were to explain what your build consists of and what the problem is, most of the people here aren't psychic, and those that are aren't giving themselves away.

It shouldn't as long as the standoffs are keeping it from touching the case.

But if anything gets behind it (loose screw or such) it can. A bare wire can do it as well, not to mention possibly frying you components.
