Hello,

I had a build ready to go... and then the Sandybridge went out of stock due to malfunction errors.

So here is the start of a new build. This is a computer I need within the next week. I will be keeping my video card (Geforce 8800 gts) until I actually start gaming in about 6 months. This is for general use/multitasking, watching blue rays, etc. I want this computer to last and the budget is around ~500-600 not including monitor.

I have no idea about the motherboard!

CPU: Newegg.com - AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor HDZ965FBGMBOX

(is 8gigs necessary?)

PSU:Newegg.com - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply
