Is that a good brand, adequate cooling? IIRC, those "box heatsinks" do not cool well. I don't need the HDMI and DisplayPort, unless I upgrade my LCDs, which are working great atm. 2 x DVI would work great.

Would that CPU/Mobo combo work well?

The cpu/mobo combo looks good. You're saving a fair bit there, and the board is fairly well spec'd

Card looks ok too. Not too crash hot, but I guess you don't need anything bigger/better.

Well, no. I don't need anything bigger. I just remember my 8800GTX getting hot all the time until I got a 3rd party heatsink. Then the temps went low into the higher 50s

Excuse me, wrong temp. It now sits at 49C at its min, 77C at its max. Used to be hotter before the 3rd party cooler. ArcticCooling, I think.
