Default New build

My mate has asked me to build him a gaming computer for 400-450 pounds. He wants it to for some new racing game well, word processing and browsing. I could do with some help. tnks

My mac:

# 1GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x512MB
# ATI Radeon X1600 with 256MB VRAM
# 250GB Serial ATA drive
# 20-inch TFT display
# 8x double-layer SuperDrive (DVD±RW, CD-RW)
# AirPort Extreme
# Bluetooth 2.0

well, with adding the 7600GT, Windows Home, it comes to 514.00 that's not bad for a decent basic gaming sytem good for a couple of years. That's from the Link above that sailpog posted. A little higher than what you wanted, but if you don't want to build then it's not a bad deal.

there's always something like this:

but it doesn't have the dual core and you would have to buy another 512MB ram at least. but it's decent as well...
