Default New $640 Budget Gaming Build

Pulled most of these parts from the recommended parts thread. I absolutely cannot have base price go over $640, and I would prefer to keep shipping as low as possible... but I guess that can't be avoided.

This build needs to play games, mostly just World of Warcraft which isn't the most demanding game, but I would like it to play others if required.

I wanted to spring for that sexy looking E8400, but it just doesn't fit in the budget... threw in the E4600 instead.

Already have a spare copy of Windows XP.

Open to any recommendations. Thanks!

If the 9600GT is the way to go, I'll sub that in. Thanks for the suggestion, b1gapl.

Yeah, I can't afford an after-market one. The build is for my father, who won't spend more than what I've got listed. I'm already pushing the limit.

Agreed. That board has great performance for the money. Both of them are.

you could also cut costs more and get a e2180/e2160 and overclock it a bit for added performance
