Default Need your comments on my build

Finally, after months of intensive research here in forums, questions asked and been answered, Ive finally bought my very tight budgeted rig and hope somehow it will do better that my old P4 lga775 rig. Ive scavenged my old casing and hdd, together with the rom drives. Here's what I bought:

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice Socket 939
MSI K8NGM2-IL nForce 6100
2x512MB PQI DDR400 Dual-Channel
Dynamo 500W psu
Artic Silver 5

Now I still have 7,000pesos ($138) left for a video card. Im thinking which among these cards will let me play games smoothly at low resolutions and at medium detail settings (if possible)

Inno3D GeForce 6600GT 128mb = $120

Inno3D GeForce 7300GT 256mb ddr2 128bit = $85

Inno3D GeForce 7300GT 128mb ddr3 128bit = $98

Inno3D GeForce 7600GS 512mb ddr2 128bit = $137

***EDIT***I was thinking of the 7300GT cards with prices that attracts me (cheap) but somehow questions me whether I can play games smoothly (low resolution and low to medium detail settings) if possible. Im not a hardcore gamer I repeat which is picky when it comes to graphics and details. I want to play games and run then smoothly even on low settings if my rig cant handle it on max detail settings. Of course there are games that are not that graphic intensive right? (like HL2 and CS:S am I right?)

Prices of video cards above are converted from Philippine Peso equivalent. My budget range from $100 to $140 in exact and will not increase anymore since its the last drop of my money ^_^ Hope for your answers since Im excited to get this running with a separate card and not in the integrated video. If 7300GT cards can do me the same then I shall go for it to save money.

Many thanks.

If this is a build that will not be upgraded for awhile I would go with the 7600GS. I realize that you will be spending the last of your money, but for longevities sake it would be your wisest choice.

It's a difficult toss-up between the 7300's as one is 128MB/DDR3 and the other 256MB/DDR2.

Perhaps someone with more knowledge on the balance between the two would care to comment...

Good Luck!

Thanks for the replies. Well yeah I think 7600GS is best among them. Is there downsides on those 7300GTs? I cant play on low to medium settings in games with that card? They offer me cheap price.

If not then I shall stick to that 7600GS suggestion.

ya i could only find a review for the 7300gt 256mb DDR3... which you don't have listed there.. if it was listed, i would choose that one. but the 7300gt's you have are lower but i donno which is better....

final decision: after much deliberation, i would recommend going with the 7300gt 128mb DDR3 edition

So it means, 128mb ddr3 will perform a little ahead of 256mb ddr2 of GeForce 7300GT

If ever my $138 budget will not decrease, I would choose 7600GS since they said that it is the best among other cards I have listed

But what catches me now is that $98 128mb ddr3 geforce 7300GT which justifying to what aliasaid stated, will perform me well in games in low res and low to medium details.

DECISION: Inno3D GeForce 7300GT 128mb ddr3 128bit

Final comments please, will be buying on Sunday. ^_^
