Lol noob quesiton but wanna make sure

The ASUS a8n-sli Premium Supports

DDR RAM 400Mhz doesnt it??

Supported ram:SDRAM DDR

That does mean SDRAM and DDR ram not DDR-SDRAM???

Actually now i am kinda confused doesnt the higher mhz mean more better?

What actually is the best RAM i can get?

If you're concerned about which type of RAM would work well for you, then I'd recommend Crucial memory. Just go to their web site at Crucial.com, bring up your motherboard's manufacturer and model number and they'll list all the sticks of their memory that are guaranteed compatible with your motherboard.

The memory they sell is good quality. It's even got free shipping and a free lifetime warranty, so you know you're getting your money's worth. I'd recommend going there and checking out what they've got to offer.

DDR-SDRAM is short form for DDR RAM.

Also, I would recomend at looking at other board's besides the A8N SLI, Asus has not been a good manafactuer of motherboard's for AMD processors.

I recomend DFI Lanparty SLI-DR

or for something cheaper the DFI nF4 ultra-D and if you want to see what would work. i would also say go to www.crucial.com and do their crucial scanner thing. and they would say the speed, pc3200. and DDR ram and what not then you can go to newegg. and find those same exact specs for whatever other ram you would want
