Default Need a slight upgrade...suggestions..

I got the idea of upgrading my system slightly. I just want to make it a little faster. I don't do any gaming(no time with two kids), but just want to make everyday internet/my daughters video games/and other basic things faster.

Any suggestions.... i would rather keep the mobo and upgrade other components....

It is my opinion that some more RAM would be your best/cheapest upgrade.

Lian Li Aluminum Case
Intel D975XBXK2R Mobo
Core 2 Duo E6700 CPU
EVGA 8800 GTS Video Card
Corsair XMS 2 x 1gig RAM
Zalman 9500 CPU cooler

Yeah, that might be the cheapest. The 256 isn't doing much for ya.

Ram, hands down. If you bring it up to 512, you'll be surprised how much smoother things run. And you don't need a gig of ram unless you're trying to do some gaming.
