Default need proc+vc suggestion

building a low-end pc for a friend and he only wants to spend $500
He does a light gaming, a little photoshop, watches movies, and well web surfing, nothing demanding.
Is E1280 okay? Because I can get one with a mobo for $100, wasn't sure if an AMD BE230 or something would be better
and for the video card, I was thinking 7600GT? maybe since it's under $100
any suggestions for alternatives?
O yeah and he's not gonna overclock, I think...

This is how I see it:
Proc+Mobo= $100~ E2180+ecs~
Ram = $60~ OCZ 2GB
HDD = $50~ 200gb-320gb
Case = $20~ Some soulless case
Video = $90~ 7600gt~
CPU Fan = $30~ Some crabby HSF
PSU = $30~ Some Antec/Ultra
DVD Burner= $30~ Memorex, Emprex w/e
M/KB = $20~ Logitech
---------------------
$465 w/tax

And this stuff will be bought at a store not newegg Thanks ahead of time

7600gt+e2140 (go for the e2180 if he wants to overclock)

O and the gt has a minumum requirement of 350w with 18a on the 12 rail, do you think it would run fairly well on a 350w 18a psu? or should I be safe and tell him to buy a better one?

Don't skimp, buy a better one.

Don't get Ultra. I did and it runs @ 11.6V for 12V.

well thing is, he's on tight budget so if worst comes to worst I'll have to build his with an ultra and I haven't had any troubles on my 2 ultras.
His is a low end build anyways
