Need a new monitor?

Ok im looking for a big monitor for gaming and also that i can watch tv on and play ma 360 on it, i was lookin at this Dell 2405FPW but the rm is 12 or so, so dono if thats good or not wat would you guys recommand, i would like it to be over 20 inches and to be well under $1000
