Default Need to make my build cheaper.

I am going to need to make this build cheaper:

Newegg.com - LG Black 52X CD-R 32X CD-RW 52X CD-ROM 2MB Cache E-IDE / ATAPI CD Burner - OEM
Newegg.com - RAIDMAX SMILODON ATX-612WBP Black SECC STEEL ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 500W Power Supply - Retail
Newegg.com - MSI K9N SLI Platinum Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
Newegg.com - BFG Tech BFGE86256GTSOCE GeForce 8600GTS 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 OC HDCP Video Card - Retail
Newegg.com - LITE-ON Black 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM IDE DVD-ROM Drive Model DH-16D2P-08 - Retail
Newegg.com - Rosewill RP550V2-S-SL ATX 12V (V2.01) 550W Power Supply 115/230 V CSA,UL,TUV - Retail
Newegg.com - Logitech Office Pro 967452-0403 White 104 Normal Keys 7 Function Keys PS/2 Standard Keyboard - OEM
Newegg.com - Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound - OEM
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
Newegg.com - AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+(65W) Windsor 2.2GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 Processor - Retail
Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250410AS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

To the $500-$600 range. I want to keep at least 1 gig of RAM, and a good graphics card though. I want to be able to run pretty much all of my games (WoW, CS:S, Warcraft III) at full graphics with no slowdown. So I might be able to go with a cheaper graphics card.

You don't need two opticals. Just get:
Newegg.com - SAMSUNG Black 18X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 18X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2M Cache E-IDE/ATAPI DVD Burner - OEM
...can read and write both DVD and CD.

From your games, you can get save a nice amount for buying a 690G motherboard or 7050 motherboard as it will perform good enough. It won't perform at the highest settings though.

BFG 8600GTS is too expensive

You can save $70 by getting MSI 8600GTS, it is OCed as well and have better cooler than BFG

Newegg.com - MSI NX8600GTS-T2D256E-OC GeForce 8600GTS 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

Or you can get 8800GTS 320MB which cost only $40 more than BFG 8600GTS

Newegg.com - XFX PVT80GGHF4 GeForce 8800GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported HDCP Video Card - Retail and you will get a free game with it.....
