Default need help picking ram stick

i have a ddr 184 dimm and i wanna upgrade my memory. i currently have 512mb and im planning to add another 512 or 1g but i dont no anything about ram sticks. so can anyone help me out? i just needa no wat to purchase. lol. thanks in advance.

If you don't plan on overclocking, value RAM should do you just fine. Must people will say its best to match up the RAM sticks. If you could provide the current stick of RAM you have now, it would be best. But here is some good value RAM(corsiar) i have 2 sticks in dual channel right now.

one 512mb stick

two 512mb sticks dual channel

im currently using a Hyundai HYMD264 646D8J-D43 and i dont plan on overclocking. its just too much a hassle to OC. becuz its hard to get ur system stable. i do my hw on this computer and i dont want sudden restarts wen im doign a long essay. lol
