Default Need help installing slave drive.

Im trying to install a 180gb slave hd with an 80gb master HD. I have the jumpers in the correct location, I have to 180 pluged into the slave IDE and the 80 to in the master plug. The BIOS says they are pluged in and both are set corectly as slave or master. But when Im loged into widows I go to my computer and it only had the master.

Is the slave formatted? If not, pop in the XP disk and format it.

Can just do it from within Windows too... Start > right click My Computer > Mange.. > Disk Management > on the left panel pick "Disk Manager" > find the disk in the bottom half > right click it and pick to format it.
