need help dunno what to do.

i want to play computer games on my computer but its too basic. it wont run any games. i have a dell dimension b110. what can i do to make games like half life 2 or guild wars run on it. also i really cant afford to spend a lot of money. please help!

it doesn't say that your pc has AGP or PCI-E so you may not be able to get a very good graphics card. i am assuming it is working off integrated graphics at the moment. you may be able to find a PCI graphics card that is better than that. i would replace the celeron with a P4 and that will boost performance in games like HL2 as well as overall performance significantly

it looks liek this is your computer. That celeron 2.53ghz is kind of bad but it will do. Get more ram. that mobo uses ddr 400 get this ram.

this will add 1 gig ram to your system and really help it out. Also you need a decent videocard. IT probaly has an agp slot so i recommend this:

wiht this you should be able to play guuld wars fine and half life 2 ok. After this you can upgrade to a p4. Here is just a cheap p4 but better than your celeron:

The b110 is bottom rung.

There is no AGP slot. You have 3 PCI slots, period. And one of them has your modem in it, if you have one.

You will have to get a PCI graphics card, and they don't make high-end ones. ABout the best your gonna get is this:
