Default Need help deciding on a monitor

Alright guys, I'm a pretty learned computer guy but I'm having trouble deciding which monitor to get.

Currently I've got a 17" Envision LCD... which is ok, but I want something better to take back to school.

I've been looking at 20.1" and 19" widescreen LCDs. For both, I was looking at the acer alXX16w line. the 19" is going for 160 while the 20" is 260... would you guys justify paying 100 bucks more for a 1 inch increase?

I was also thinking about maybe getting a syntax olevia 23" tv and hooking that up to my computer... is that a good idea? the res. on that is 1330 by 776 or something.

Any other recommendations would be great! Thanks!

I just bought this one.

Looks like it is sold-out for the delivery, but if you have CompUSA new you, the store might have it in stock. The deal expires on 8/26.

It is pretty nice.
