Default Need help with choppy FPS

hey, i have a 8800 gtx and when i play Gears on high i get choppyish action, would going SLI get rid of this or would a better ram upgrade help more??

Sounds like a software problem, not hardware.

Agreed your card and the memory you have should play it rather nicely without the choppy graphics, what all are you doing while playing, any multi tasking?

Try (In this order)
updating drivers
reinstall game/s
virus/spyware scans
shutting down other programs
defragging
different video card (Yours could have something wrong with it, highly doubt it)
