CPU $319 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115003

Mobo $116.99-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813121048

RAM $179.99 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220095

Graphics $297.99- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130061

HD $77.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144701

That's $991.96.

I'm not too sure on optical drives or PSU's but I'm sure someone else is, but this setup will last you along time (the VGA will max out every game out there to date, and the CPU is insane especially if you overclock), and when directx10 comes you can use eVGA's step-up program to upgrade your Graphics card.

Hope I was helpful
