Need Help Building from Ground Up

Looking at the picture of the mobo it says P450-VX. A google search is telling me it's a Sony Vaio, possibly a PCV-RS320. If I'm right then a regular power supply won't work with that mobo as it Proprietary. You'd be best off ditching the whole rig and starting with all new parts.

Actually, it states in the opening post that he's putting in a power supply, and more hard drives.

Not saying all new parts are needed, but if the motherboard is proprietary, I would start with a new motherboard. You've got 2 IDE channels, which will limit you to 4 drives in total, since you can only control 2 devices at once on each channel.

Well if the motherboard and PSU are proprietry that does spell trouble to come. The good news is that the PSU might not even need to be changed out.
