Hey guys, I'm new to the computer world and don't know that much.
I have around $800 to buy a computer. (From Canada)
So I'm into gaming and a bit of photoshopping for my courses at school.
I also wouldnt like to overclock it, because I want the computer to last a while. Like it would last long enough so all I would have to do in the future would be change the Video card and add some more ram.

I was looking at this refurbished computer from future shop and was wondering if I would be able to upgrade it seeing as I would have around $300 left. Like what could I do to make it better and is it even worth it to buy it and upgrade or would it be easier for me just to build one up from scratch.

Thanks for the help

btw i already have a screen, keyboard and mouse.

I would replace the power supply and graphics card. The system has plenty as far as CPU and RAM goes.

I recommend these: - Buy XFX Radeon HD 5770 850MHZ 1GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 2XDVI HDMI Display Port DIRECTX11 PCI-E Video CARD- - HD577AZNFC In Canada. - Buy Corsair TX650W 650W ATX 12V 52A 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 120MM Fan - CMPSU-650TX In Canada.

The two can be combined into a combo deal for a total of $291.24CAD.

the corsair Trotter recommended is great, but it would be a little over the top for your needs, even if you get the 5770 that he suggested.

this 500w psu would suit your needs, and save you some change.
