Need a HDD for my build

I've got this laid down, but need a 500gb HDD that would be decent, compatible and at a decent price, to.

Any ideas please folks?

Yep, that Western Digital drive is a popular one. Also consider the Samsung SpinPoint F3 drives which are pretty quick (for mechanical drives) and the 500GB version is fairly cheap nowadays too (I recently picked up the 1TB one for £38/$60!)

The 1TB and larger are speedy, but those smaller than that are just average.
