Right on. You could either build that computer for a LOT less, or you could spend that much while building it yourself and have an unbelievably awesome computer.

the computers are only 1200, i doubt if he were to build one the computer would be qoute on quote "unbelievably awesome computer",but it would be a good computer. But I agree, man up() and build your own, better in the long run.

To be perfectly honest, I didn't look at them. I just saw alienware, and a flag flew up.

Alienware > Dell.

Provided, Alienware's tech support sucks, Dell's is worse. Much, much worse. Being an owner of an Alienware, i can tell you they do good work when putting your computer together.

Dell makes budget, cheap, poorly made machines.

Alienware makes higher quality and nicely made machines, but horribly overpriced for what you could build.

As always, building is the best way to go.

Save Dell for a last resort.

1,200-1,300$ Is about what I could spend. Id like it to play counter-strike online gaming and other games, and regular personal use, aol, etc.

Whoa, get rid of AOL before you get attacked by the forum users!

Anyways, if your just playing cs 1.6, you don't need a 1,300 dollar rig, save your money and buy a 7-800 dollar pc.
