b1gapl's build, but with this mobo:
Newegg.com - BIOSTAR TForce TF7050-M2 Socket AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 7050PV Micro ATX AMD Motherboard with HDMI - Retail

Better onboard graphics, $1 more. As always, get 2 gigs of RAM if at all possible, especially if you use onboard graphics.

Agreed with Trotter. At the time I posted this build, that motherboard wasn't there. This thread is pretty old though.

dude, here's the first blown to smithereens part...its retarded to buy a sempron (lol a SOCKET 754 SEMPRON no less) for 100 dollars when you can buy an am2 x2 3600 for 60.
unless you dont want to change mobos...then it would make sense. kinda.

Yeah, but that's a cpu and motherboard for $100. Still prolly not good for gamers, but it is cheaper.

yeah, but you can get an x2 3600 and a motherboard for like 130.00
which is 30% more, but it is at least 30% better.
i can find a motherboard for like 40-50 bucks that would keep the 3600/mobo around 100...it wouldnt be a great mobo, but it would still clobber a sempron for pete's sake.
