Default Need a better insight

Hey guys.

I've come here in search of help (I have no real computer experience).
I'm a WoW player currently running a pretty terrible rig in my opinion, and I'm looking for an upgrade. I want something that can run WoW at around at a constant smooth fps (40-50+) in major cities/raids on high/max settings. I have a very tight budget of around 300 GBP and from the UK if that helps. Should I upgrade my current system or buy a new one?

Here are my current specs -

Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel Core 2 CPU 4300 1.80GHz
ATI Radeon Xpress 1200 Series
(Please post if you need more)

I'm looking for a base only unit ( I have speakers and a monitor and other hardware) with a OS included. If you suggest that I keep my computer but buy some upgrades that will surely run WoW high/max settings with a really good FPS it would be nice if you could leave links from UK suppliers.

Thanks a lot guys!
