Default need advice on purchase

After much looking and trying to do my best this is what I'm thinking of buying.I plan on upgrading cpu 6 months or so as the high end ones now drop in price.Think this board will last awhile cpu can go to the fx if i understand right.I have up to 700 to spend but will wait on video card for a few weeks and try to spend up to $250 for a video card at that time.Any suggestions on these parts or know abetter deal? This is all from newegg who also seems to have decent shipping prices.$37 to ship all this.

Not bad. But are you planning on PCIe or AGP for GFX Card. I would also suggest a better motherboard.

I wouldent use maxtor for 1,

for your hard drive, for $4 more, you can get a SATA-2 western digital with same capacity.

I dont know much about sata but one time i installed on friends and had trouble cause of sata drivers for windows. Was fresh install.Had to instal a floppy drive to get it to work. But if it is better i would go for it.

I took out the fan didnt realize the cpu came with one
