Default Need advice on mid range mobo/processor

I’m looking to get computer to use for testing stuff on FreeBSD and other operating systems, doing nightly rsync backups to (nothing huge) and burning DVDs. I’d prefer to use an onboard video card because I don’t plan on playing any games on it, at least for the time being.

I could buy something really cheap/slow, but I’d rather get something that’ll last me a while. I don’t really have a preferance for any specific processor or even AMD or Intel.

Space is an issue so that’s why I picked a mini tower.

$48.00 – In Win Mini Tower Case
Processor
Mini ATX Mobo
$38.99 – CORSAIR 512MB DDR 400 (PC 3200)
$99.50 – Seagate Barracuda 250GB Serial ATA150
$37.99 – NEC IDE DVD Burner
$7.25 – Samsung Floppy Drive

I would really appreciate suggestions and critique of my selections. Thanks.
