Hey, everyone! A month (almost) later, and I have the DNS-320 in my hands. This is oh, so much easier on my head... It's like FreeNAS, without the problems that I had. It had a simple setup for my drives, and for applying the RAID1.
The only problem, very little at that, is, it does not allow you to format in another forms. But this does not matter to me in the least. EX3 is just fine.
CIFS is enabled by default. Had to enable FTP. But it's working like a champ.
Currently transferring about 100GB into it. All my backed up stuff I had to transfer to my system, when I initially changed to a onboard hardware RAID.
Thank your boss, MyGodAl3X, he was right.
