Default My Plans

I currently have $500 + this system:

Athlon XP 2500+
A7n8x-x
2x 512mb Ram
250gb Seagate HDD
6600gt
DVDRW

I want to build a HTPC with my money so i thought up this:

I buy these components:
Sempron 64bit 754 2800+ - $100
K8N-E Deluxe Motherboard - $105
512mb DDR 400 off Forums - $40
200gb HDD - $120
TV Tuner - $100
Graphics Card with TV Out - $30
Build my own Case out of wood, ill give you pics once its done.

I put the Sempron and K8N-E in my good computer and use the Socket A Mobo/CPU in the HTPC.

What do you think?

Why don't you get an Athlon 64 2800 for the 754?

Because the Athlon 64 2800+ costs $170 vs $100 for the Sempron, and look at this:
