Hey guys, I am building my computer and I ordered everything I needed through newegg. Here are the specs:

DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI-DR Motherboard
AMD X2 Dual Core 4800+ Processor
1GB of Corsair DDR400 XMS RAM
Aspire X-Cruise with built in 420 Watt power supply
Sony 16X Double Layer DVD-Burner (DRU720)
300GB Maxtor Diamond SATA Hard Drive 16MB Cache
EVGA 6800GT Video Card (PCI Express)

It costs me about $1975 with tax and shipping and eerything for it. Was that too expensive? Or was that decently saved? Also, are there any changes you guys think I should make?

Yeah, I'm actually getting 2 more 80mm fans and a 120mm fan for the back instead of the 80mm one that came with the case. I would like to get another gig of ram but kinda out of money now, haha. Other than that, it should be ok for awhile right?

I personally think if it's primary purpose is gaming, it could do much better.

RAM: If your gaming or some other hardcore tasks, 2 gig is a must these days.

Graphics Card: If your getting a 4800+ and a gamer, you can also afford a new card like a 7800GTX

my computer is mostly for multitasking, I like to burn or create movies, I love multimedia. I game now and then, but not a hardcore gamer or anything. So the system sounds good for now? Except for the memory, that can be upgrade later. Thanx for you guys' inputs.
