My Gaming System

I have finally bit the bullet and decided to upgrade my 4 yr old pc...
Please give me your suggestions as I have not been able to keep up 100% with the latest hardware.

I am keeping my Logitech Bluetooth kb/mouse, my Audigy 2 sound card, my speakers and my 19" monitor and I have my copy of WinXP Pro

Mobo: MSI Intel 945P P4-775 PCI-E #7176.010
CPU: Intel Core 2 Extreme processor x6800 (2.93GHz)
RAM: 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz - 2 DIMMs
HDs: WD 500GB (2x250GB) SATA 3Gb/s Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache
Video Card: 512MB nVidia GeForce 7900 GTX
DVD: Logitech 16x DVD+/-RW w/ dbl layer write

I will decide on the mobo once you guys give me your opinions on this build... perhaps I should go 2x vid cards?

EDIT: I changed my mind, what about the MSI 945P board?

I would say off the cuff... go with a E6600 or 6700 and an ATI X1900XTX. no real reason at this point to go with 2 GPU's. I would also make sure you have at least a 450-520W PSU.
