I am building a new pc, mostly for gaming.
Give me some suggestions for what I need to play the current games on maximum quality.

1.Battlefield 2
2.Battlefield 2142
3.Counterstrike 1.6
4.Counterstrike Source
5.Half-Life2 ext....

I am looking to spend about 800$ maybe a little bit more.

Hi there, does your $800 budget include peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, etc?

I posted this in another part of the forum, but i think its a good setup so i posted it again. Just a little over your budget, but can be fixed by getting a cheaper mouse/keyboard, and the video card has a mail in rebate.

Thats $930 before shipping for a killer system, just add an lcd and youre good to go. I didnt choose an sli board, because sli is overated, the performace per dollar ratio is too low, it doesnt really give double the performance, espcially at lower resolutions.

Better PSU - Fortron 450 Watt Or enermax 460 Watt.

The Mobo needs to be changed to a DS3 version. (Well, it doesn't NEED to be, but the D3 is better)
