Default My First PC Build (HELP)

Hey guys, I just recently discovered that my PC is way outdated, and i'm looking to create a new one. I just put some parts together and i'm wondering if they're worth the price, if they can run the upcoming Arma 3, and if they even work together.

Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 Pro B3 Intel P67 Motherboard - ATX, Socket H2 (LGA 1155), Intel P67 Express, 2200MHz DDR3 (O.C.), Gigabit LAN, 8-Channel Audio, SATA 6.0 Gb/s, SuperSpeed USB 3.0, SLI/CrossFireX, Bluetooth at TigerDirect.com

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K BX80623I72600K Unlocked Processor - Quad Core, 8MB L3 Cache, 3.40 GHz, Socket H2 (LGA1155), Retail at TigerDirect.com

Video Card: XFX HD-697A-CNFC Radeon HD 6970 Video Card - 2048MB, GDDR5, PCIe, Dual mini-Display Port, HDMI, Dual DVI at TigerDirect.com

Power Box: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...&Sku=U12-40503

Hard Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-792-_-Product

Case : Cooler Master RC-932-KKN5-GP HAF 932 Advance Full Tower Case - ATX, Black, SuperSpeed USB 3.0 at TigerDirect.com

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...729e5605bc36aa

Operating System: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...Id_26_M17-7306

So are these ok parts? The full price is : $1,579

Don't get that Hitachi. Get a WD Black 1.5TB or 2TB. They are a lot faster. Newegg.com - Internal Hard Drives, 1TB and higher,wd black

Unless you need all those different channels, onboard sound should be fine for you.

Get this RAM. It is cheaper, and that line is good. Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL
I have 4 x 2GB of those types in my system.

All else looks well.

Oh, nother thing i noticed. You don't need a 1200W for that system. Unless you are on quad SLI. I think a 750W should do you fine.

IIRC, the 2600K comes with a good stock heatsink. It's a tower heatsink.
