Default My first build - spec

Processor: Intel core duo E8400
Mobo: MSI P43 NEO-f
Case: Cooler Master CM690
HD: 500GB Samsung HD502IJ Spinpoint F1
Memory: 2 GB Corsair PC2-6400 C4 XMS2 DHS
Graphics: Saphire HD4850
Power Supply: Corsair 550W VX Series

Any suggestions, improvments or advice much welcomed,

Why bother with the core architecture now that core i3's and i5's are out?

I suggest you look into them.

Ok, I'll do that. I like Computers a lot but one thing I would struggle with is making sure the CPU and mothboard talk to each other. Was thinking maybe to buy a mobo with the processor in it, to save the hassle of installing the CPU. Compatibility wise. dont think theres anything else id need to match up aslong as my PSU supports a good graphics/video card and I put the right kind of RAM inside it then the rest should be easy, i hope.
