How can it be better when its just a rebadged 8800GT..... Plus the 4850 beats the 9800GTX so it would make no sense.

Look at a BioShock 1920x1200 benchy, over 20fps better:

Well it is $159 for a 9800GT and $198-$218 for a 4850.

The argument for the 4850 was price/performance, and the 9800GT performs at about 10% less than the 4850, while costing 20-30% less.

But by all means, if you can stretch a 4850, they are a great card and i recommend them all the time. All i am trying to say is the 9800GT is still half decent.

i did say i wanna save money right? just to play COD4, BF2 and Operation 7 when it comes out
But i have to say i don't like AMD so...sorry >.< thanks for the advise though really appreciate it.

Like i said, you will still be able to play those games and both cards a great.

If your willing to spend more to get a bit more performance and probably life out of a card do it. Otherwise go for the cheaper option if you want to save some money for something else.

$155 after MIR:
Newegg.com - HIS Hightech H485F512P Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

But there are some 9800GT's for $130 so i guess your right, but an extra $20 for a 4850 would be totally worth it.

Ahh so do I... lol. In that case RedMo0n is absolutely correct, go for the 9800GT. MSY.com.au has them for $160.
