Is my aging HP worth it?

Thanks again for all of your replies. You all pretty much confirmed what I suspected. Mikee, used RDRAM is available all day on eBay and judging from buyer feedback, most seem happy. I think I may up ram to 512, find an oem XP, and be happy with that for awhile. Maybe after enough time spent here lurking, I can decide what kind of Vista build will be right for me. I realize I can buy a retail package for less bucks, but there's just something about building your own Frankenstein, isn't there?

I mean not available as in not through major stores new. you can get ANYTHING on ebay if you look hard enough
