I've been looking into adding more cheap storage to my Dell PC.

The computer has S-ATA connections and I have 2x 250GB internal and there isnt any more room to add in the case. I also have 2 USB 2.0 external drives & enclosures, one 250GB, one 500gb; however I think the 500gb is on its last leg after it was dropped.

Ideally, I'd like to get some sort of multi-drive external enclosure to simplify all of my cabling and have future expandabiltiy.

Can anyone reccomend what route I should go with this?

I'm willing to replace my other 250gb ide external with a S-ATA drive if I can get more speed out of it, and would there be a significant speed difference if I got an firewire card for the PC and used that as opposed to USB 2.0?

In terms of an external enclosure; I'd like to find something faster than a simple IDE usb 2.0 external drive without breaking the bank. Ideally there would be 3+ "bays" but if not I can problably make due with 2.
