I am looking for a good quality mouse pad. Currently I have one of those foam and cloth pads. And I decided to find a decent quality one. I am looking for one on newegg, because I am lready placing an order with them for dvd media, I would like both to come from one retailer.

What pads do you suggest, what do you currently use?

My mouse is a logitch mx1000, if that makes any difference.

Here's the one I have:

I'm not gonna lie... I really wanted it because it glowed blue. :) It turns out to be an awesome mouse pad though. I've never owned anything other than the same kind of mouse pad you're using now, but there is a huge difference. I didn't think mouse pads could make that much of a difference, but they do. I use these cheap ass mouse on it (also glows blue :)):

Yeah, I dont think I'll give up my mx1000 for that 9$ mouse, sorry. I do know some one who might like a lighted mouse pad, and a back light keyboard, and sure a mouse with it too.

people still use mouse pads in this day and age of optical and laser mice? I haven't used a mouse pad in about 2 years

The one you're looking at is probably the best, at newegg atleast. The other func's are oddly shaped and would look weird on a desk in my opinion

Hope it works out for you :)
I'm yet to get a new one, using a Belkin with a gel wrist pad. Comfortable, but I'd like a new one.

My glass mousepad looks cool, feels nice, and definately tracks better than my wood table.
