Hi there, i'm going to build a new computer and i've got everything together i just can't choose between mobo's and vcards. Looking for some help or suggestions
Here is what i'm looking at:
DFI Infinity
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16813136015
or
EPoX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813123004

And these are the two vcards i'm stuck between:
eVGA Nvidia:

or
POWERCOLOR ATI:

For the Video Card; get the 7600GT eVGA for the extra money. It runs excellent and plays alot of games.

The DFI motherboard has much better reviews, and is 64-bit compliant, while the EPox isn't 64-bit. Plus i haven't heard that name.

Thanks. Those are the two i was leaning twards. Just wasn't sure Cuz someone told me that the DFI is just an overpriced basic board

The 7600GT is faster.

I would also look into the Asus M2N-E - it has a heatpipe for the chipset cooling.

DFI is also good. You shouldn't get EPOX.

Isn't the m2n about $140? i'm on a budget to build a good computer for under $800. thats why i am looking into those two mobo's

I have a DFI board, and I have yet to find any flaws in it, but I can't say too much, 'cause it's in my gaming PC, and I don't do too much gaming these days.

Well i think i'm gonna go with that DFI heard many good things about it except that the chipset gets hot. So, I think I will be looking for an aftermarket cooler. Anyone have any suggestions?

DFI Infinity is not the board that you hear the hype about. It is just the 'Asrock of ASUS' in a sense.

For AM2 I would go for an ASUS. They seem to be most hopeful for this socket so far.

I've heard many bad things about the M2N board or maybe just problems in the bios though and i can't afford to upgrade past that
